  1. Waitlist for Sold Out Accommodation Dates

    A waitlist feature allows you to assign a Waitlist status to a reservation.

    If the room or rate requested by the guest becomes available for the desired stay dates, the reservation can be "accepted" and made active.

  3. Option to Void Charges on Cancel Reservation

    Add the ability for a user to select to void charges off the Reservation Account when Cancelling a Reservation.

  4. Merging Duplicate Company and Travel Agent profiles

    Merging duplicate Company and Travel Agent Profiles
    There needs to be a button to be able to Merge Duplicate Company and Travel Agent Profiles. It is very difficult to get an accurate assessment of a companies production when there is more than one profile.

  5. The Bkg Source should automatically change to "A Repeat Customer" when that customer books again

    This could be very helpful when we want to generate marketing reports on new business and save on booking time.

  6. Cancellation Policy with Cancellation Fees

    This would be set up like rates, you cancel within a certain period, a cancellation fee will be charged. If you cancel within 14 days on a holiday "X" will be charged. If you cancel within 7 days "X" will be charged. The cancellation policy would be able to be individualized to each business and their policies. To have to have my staff manually have to go in under Sundry and place a fee won't happen. I need it to be automatic, when the cancel button is pushed.

  7. Online Payment Portal for Tax Invoices & Accounts Receivable

    Ability for Customer to Pay RMS invoice online with link (using payment gateway)

    Ability for customer to pay an RMS generated invoice online using payment gateway. This might be for accommodation or extras charges. Staff can send invoice with link to pay. Customer follows link and pays online, with receipt being generated and account updated within RMS

  8. Yesterday button next to the today button for the booking chart

    If we had a yesterday button on the booking chart we could at a glance know which sites had been checked out and would be available to put someone in for that day. It would also make it easier to make reservation the following morning for guests that arrived after hours the day before.

  9. Ability to sell gift vouchers / set value vouchers online

    I've just been spekaing with RMS support and found that currently RMS cannot handle the sale of vouchers online (and no plans with future RMS 9+ rollouts at the moment).

    We would like to be able to sell gift vouchers through our website for either a client nominated value, or a value set by us for sale ($50, $100 etc)

    The purchaser can nominate the name of the person who they will be giving it to so that the voucher details & any monies held for the voucher value can be in the client account of the guest, and then…

  10. Change Receipt Screen Default to No Receipt Type Selected

    The user should have to enter payment method by highlighting or checking a box. An error message should appear if nothing is ticked. This is similar to c/card type now. It would save a lot of frustration at the end of day balancing. Every user will think this is a good idea as we have all made the same mistake more than once in our careers.

  11. Would like a "rewards" system in RMS9 for repeat guests

    We would like a "rewards" system in RMS9 like frequent guests so that they could get a free night after 10 visits, etc.

  12. Same Day reservations highlighted in Booking chart

    Same day reservations made online should be bolded or brightly colored in the booking chart so that the front desk has time to check/prepare for their arrival. Or a pop up window in the booking chart to let the user know of a new reservation.

  13. Invoice/invoice email body customisation

    It would be great to be able to edit the body of an email when sending tax invoices. It would be extremely helpful to be able to edit the layout of the tax invoice itself, and have the relevant merge fields available to enter whereever desired.

  14. Cash Drawer connectivity

    Could you please look into the option of allowing more connection options for a Cash drawer than Serial port. Less and less computers are coming with Serial ports. USB would be the most compatible with all devices.

  16. Default Print Action for Receipts

    When receipting, the system automatically defaults to remember the last action, it would be good to have a defaulted action without being changed each transaction or to have the pop up option (like RMS8 had) whether to receipt, email, tax invoice or exit without printing.

  17. Increase File Size Permissions for Online Photos

    Quality photos are so important for hotels and holiday parks. Along with price and reviews, photos are one of the main deciding factors potential guests look at when deciding where to book.

    We need to be able to upload higher quality photos, at least 1MB per photo, as 250KB is way too small and takes a lot of unnecessary effort to reduce the size of all our quality photos down to that size.

  18. Ability to Set 'No Chargeback' on Reservations for use with POS

    Place a "POS Stop Transaction" button or check box in the RMS reservation chart for in-house guests who have finalised their Extras Account before actually checking out.
    Scenario:- A guest finalises their Accommodation and Extras accounts the day before they check out of the property – eg due to very early departure the following morning. In this situation we do not want the guest to be able to have additional transactions added to their Extras account via the POS.

  19. Quick login so different users can use same computer

    Quick login so different users can use same computer without having to log out, then log back in. Currently, every user ends up posting under the same user ID because it is too time consuming to log out.

  20. Housekeepers Portal - Improvement Suggestions

    It would be great if rooms that have departed would update inside the Housekeepers Portal so they instantly know when a guest has departed and their room is available to be cleaned. Also the ability to highlight with different colours the various task (i.e. Departs GREEN, Services ORANGE, Linen Changes PINK etc...)

    Furthermore, many properties have the housekeeping manager or Motel manager perform 'Room Stripping & Stocking'. If the housekeepers can be remotely advised within the Portal when a room has been stripped and stocked it would also be useful.
